Facebook engagement levels have increased - Study

Facebook Mark ZuckerbergSurprised by the heading of this article? Only some time back, there were reports in the media that almost 1/3 of Facebook's users have been losing interest in the social network, and that the use of ads was not really helping to convert any fans to actually buy products/services.

Well, guess what! New study seems to suggests that (with the help of some good old statistics) that engagement levels on Facebook are actually increasing. Brands are opening up to their customers, and ads are being used effectively to convert potential visitors to customers.

The earlier reports of people acknowledging to spending less time may stem up from the fact that people don't really want to admit that they spend the amount of actual they do on Facebook. (Mostly because of the public perception)

So Facebookers, there's nothing to worry about the social network losing its charm. It's still going strong. Infact, it's actually performing very good and even beating its rivals namely Twitter, YouTube, and Google +

But in the end, only time will tell if Facebook is indeed still in the driving seat when it comes to user engagement, sheer number of visitors and the performance of advertising.
